Mountain Life Care uses the nationally-recognized background-check and screening provider, SecureSearch, to execute a customized and extensive background check of each caregiver and coach.  Each employee of Mountain Life Care is SecureSearch certified before providing care or coaching to any Mountain Life Care client. A certification is awarded only after the employee’s background has been searched and reviewed against the following repositories:

• Colorado Motor Vehicle Records

• Colorado Court Records (including Criminal and District Courts)

  • 64 Counties (including manual search of Denver county)

  • 8 Municipalities

• Multi-State and International Search covering:

  • Sexual Offenders Registries from all 50 States & D.C.

  • Online Court / Dept of Corrections Records from 43 States & D.C.

  • 142 County Court Records systems across 13 states

  • P.R.I.O.R.S. Database (proprietary database of manually retrieved court records from all 50 States and D.C.)

  • FBI Most Wanted

  • DEA Fugitives

  • US Marshals Most Wanted

  • Secret Service Most wanted

  • Interpol

  • Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS)

• Plus other specialized Registries and Databases
  
  In addition to initial background screening, Mountain Life Care conducts periodic random background searches to ensure that our standards always remain at the top of the care industry.
